    Hello friends
I try to make pizza tonda romana , never had one or never realised it ,in italy i had something really crunchy like cracker style but im not sure if that was close to tonda romana , anyways is this pizza something similar to roman style ?

Should it be crunchy on whole bottom or only on edges ? Mine is quite soft in center and crispy on rim .

    Hi,
    I can’t see the shots..
the closer pizza to your choise is surely the “scrocchiarella” or tonda romana, but this forum is attended by italians so, please, try to translate and ask in italian, if it possible.
Anyway, look at this kind of pizza, maybe is what you want.
You’ll find out also interesting videos by Chef Arletto.

The Tonda Romana (Round Roman) pizza is often also called Schrocciarella. It's supposed to be thin without any real cornicione and with a crispy/crunchy bottom, even in the middle.

La pizza Tonda Romana è anche spesso chiamata Schrocciarella. Dovrebbe essere sottile senza una vera cornicione e con un fondo croccante, anche nel centro.

Grazie Linda, che pizze piu belle che hai linkato! :D
